Old Treasury Building, Spring Street, Melbourne

Hi all,

I had to shoot this photo on my way to choir tonight, it is of the Old Treasury Building on Spring St.

The light falling on the building gave an amazing yellow/orange colour in contrast to the night sky. I felt the trees and lamp posts really gave some interest too. What do you think?

Fountain – iPhoneography

Hi all,

I took these photos of a fountain at the corner of Spring St and Collins St Melbourne. I used my iPhone and an app called Camera 360 for the effects, and an app called iDarkroom for the borders.

The night sky provided a gorgeous blue backdrop:

I used the ‘Magic Color’ effect in the photo below to make everything black and white except blue… leaves a cool effect I think.

Fitzroy Phoneography

Hello everyone,

This post is called ‘Phoneography’ as I have used my iPhone to edit the photos in some of the apps that are around.

The apps I used are Camera 360 and iDarkroom. I loved the effect from the cartoon and colour filters especially. You can really try some cool things!

I couldn’t help use my normal camera as well so will post some standard photos from Fitzroy later in the week.
