Old Treasury Building, Spring Street, Melbourne

Hi all,

I had to shoot this photo on my way to choir tonight, it is of the Old Treasury Building on Spring St.

The light falling on the building gave an amazing yellow/orange colour in contrast to the night sky. I felt the trees and lamp posts really gave some interest too. What do you think?

Bridges in Docklands, Melbourne

Hi everyone,

On Wednesday night I took part in a photography walk throughout the Docklands area.

We started at Webb Bridge, which has some brilliant shapes and reflections to capture:

We then visited Seafarers Bridge, I love the symmetry in this photo:

On the way back to the train, I captured some light trails. Makes traffic look almost pretty! This is a 12 second exposure:

Quite an interesting area. A very cold night, but I think I got some good photos, what do you think?

An interesting backyard…

Hi everyone,

I went to a house in Ivanhoe last weekend and they had some interesting places in their backyard, so I took some time to get some photos.

I really felt these photos needed an olden day look to them, so with a little post production have added that. I’m pleased with the effect, what do you think?
