Light Painting at the Royal Melbourne Show

Hi all,

Yesterday we went to the Royal Melbourne Show. We had a ball -such a fun place! I set my tripod up once the sun had set and took to the rides section. All those moving lights on the rides were sure to give me some great light painting opportunities – I was not disappointed!

What do you think of these 5 photos?

DSC09115 DSC09142 DSC09095DSC09127DSC09075All were shot at ISO 100 f11.0 Shutter speed between 2 and 6 seconds.

Thanks for checking out my post 🙂

Cheers, Andrew

Great series. Next time try shooting near dusk when the sky has some blue in it and you might be pleasantly surprised.

I love all your light painting photographs! I would love capture some too, is there a light painting photography group in Melbourne?

    • Thanks Evelyn, it is great fun. I am part of the Melbourne walk and shoot group on meet up which sometimes does light painting. You can get the link on my about page. I also have a tips post about it too

I'd love to hear your thoughts on my blog, post away!
