Hi all,
I took these photos of a fountain at the corner of Spring St and Collins St Melbourne. I used my iPhone and an app called Camera 360 for the effects, and an app called iDarkroom for the borders.
The night sky provided a gorgeous blue backdrop:
I used the ‘Magic Color’ effect in the photo below to make everything black and white except blue… leaves a cool effect I think.

I guess I am used to ignoring that fountain because I pass it several times a day. It was not working for quite a while with the water restrictions and then some mechanical problems. Just goes to show that good subject matter is often right under your nose (or outside your office window)
Haha very true! I walk past it every Tuesday to get to choir and this is the first time I have photographed it. I am doing a creative photo course and this week our theme is water so I am on the lookout for water subjects!
